It's used for its antioxidant and skin-conditioning properties, often alongside or in place of argan oil.
Why does it clog pores?
Argania spinosa extracts carry many of the same oleic acid-rich compounds found in argan oil that disrupt follicular lipids. They can leave a comedogenic residue on the skin that traps sebum inside pores. When you see this Latin name, it's essentially a signal that argan-derived pore-clogging compounds are present.
