What is Cotton Seed Oil?

Why is it used in products?

Why does it clog pores?
Cottonseed oil has a moderately comedogenic fatty acid profile that can contribute to pore blockage, especially on oily skin. Its combination of palmitic and oleic acids creates a film that's thick enough to trap sebum. It's particularly problematic because it's often used as a filler oil in budget formulations.
